1. Visit the Natural Park of the Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja.
It is home to a great diversity of birds, as well as other species of flora and fauna. In winter, it is a good time to observe flamingos, ducks, herons and other aquatic birds; besides having a special color and atmosphere.

4. Hidden corners of Torrevieja
The Torre del Moro is an old watchtower from where you will have one of the best views of the city.
The Parque de las Naciones is a theme park with a central lake, a zoo, an amusement park and other attractions.
The Water Mill Park is an ideal place to stroll through a quieter area within the city, with a restored water mill.
5. Visit a local market
Local markets are an excellent way to get to know the gastronomy and culture of a place. At the Torrevieja market, you can find a wide variety of fresh produce, as well as typical products of the region.
The market is open every day except Sundays.
6. Dinner in a traditional restaurant
The gastronomy of Torrevieja is a mixture of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. In the city's restaurants you can try typical dishes such as paella, rice with lobster, grilled octopus and red shrimp from Torrevieja.
